Singer-Songwriter & Artist

Toronto ➔ Sydney

Drawn to the unconventional, Falana’s creative journey so far has been the epitome of ‘carpe diem.’ The Nigerian-Canadian singer-songwriter is all about seizing opportunities and letting life take the wheel — a mindset that saw her leave her native Toronto to study in Aarhus, learn Spanish and the cajón in Havana, reconnect with her roots in Lagos, and revel in the energetic cultural scene of London. Falana found a creative grounding in Lagos: releasing an EP and an album, and creating commissioned works for NGOs, films, and the Africa Fashion installation at the V&A Museum.
