Stefan Siegel is the Los Angeles-based founder of Not Just A Label: the leading online directory for independent and emerging fashion designers. Growing up in the bucolic surroundings of South Tyrol, the northern Italian province that borders Austria and Switzerland, Stefan’s adventurous nature has taken him from becoming a pilot in the Italian navy to studying business in Vienna — and getting scouted to become a model in the process — before eventually joining an investment bank in New York and working on the business side of fashion. This path led to the founding of Not Just A Label: a global platform that spotlights and sells the creations of independent designers.
