Adam BROWN

Adam Brown, Creative Director and Founder of global menswear label Orlebar Brown, grew up in Southeast Asia as an expat with his family, before returning to the UK as a teenager. It was this early exposure to the world that gave him a taste for adventurous travel. After what he describes as a directionless start to his career in fundraising for charities and then photography, it was while on holiday that Orlebar Brown evolved: a tailored swim short for men. Adam did a crash course in fashion design in London and before he knew it, he was selling swim shorts around the world, from New York and LA to Miami, London and Sydney. 15 years on and the collection has expanded, but at its core is the idea of travel and versatile pool style for men. In this time, he has traveled to far-flung destinations, yet nowhere is more intoxicating than the Buddhist Kingdom of Bhutan, cradled in the Himalayas.
