Wanting to showcase the beauty of the city and the diversity of its people on a global scale, Kate was an instrumental part of the bid team that secured Sydney as the host of the southern hemisphere’s first ever WorldPride. Now, after over 20 years spent advocating for LGBTQIA+ communities, Kate is the CEO of Sydney WorldPride: responsible for pulling together this historic celebration for the harbour city. The 17-day festival features hundreds of events — ensuring that each and every attendee’s tastes will be catered for.
