Kiku Ohe

Award-winning filmmaker and director Kiku Ohe was raised between Australia and Japan. Since, he’s followed his creativity first to Sydney, then to Los Angeles, all while traveling in between to shoot in Vietnam, Hong Kong, Barcelona and the red raw expanse of Australia’s outback. While Kiku’s passion for filmmaking started with his love for music, the emotional experience of travel and the universal language of storytelling is what drives him now. We chat with Kiku about his campaign with Qantas, shooting across Australia, the US, Japan and the UK, what’s unique in LA and how the city inspires him creatively.
