When the opportunity came for Tea Uglow to transfer from her job with Google in London to a new posting in Sydney, Australia, the inspirational benefits of getting out of her established work environment and into a brand new one factored highly in her decision. Working at the nexus of art and technology, she values the chaos of the creative process and the way travel and the freedom it brings can heighten that experience. We spoke with her about her experience of creative life in a new time zone, communication in 2025 and a few favorite corners of Sydney.
