"So most nights, this is for like, late night people. There's a place called Abou Sobhi. And it's a spot that's open up to, I think, about 5am for shawarma. And it's packed up until 5am. The sun's rising, and they’re still selling shawarma."

"In Tripoli, a lot of the food is based around like shawarma or grilled meats and stuff. So there's another one called El-Soufi, which is in the Soufi district of Tripoli. And it's the only place that I found at the time that actually sold lamb. If you want to get lamb you have to go there."

"Al-Abd Hammam is pretty much the same as it was 500 years ago, like they still hang the same towels that the Ottomans used 500 years ago. So it's very historical and nothing's changed. And you walk in, you feel like you're back in time. It was a really, really unique and cool experience."

"Rasmaska Gardens is a really popular place for families to go to. It's in like a national park and overlooks the whole seaside. And if it's a clear day in Tripoli, you can actually see Syria along the ocean borders."

"SeaSweets is a very popular place for Lebanese desserts. Go there for something called knefe — it’s like a cream-stuffed bagel with cheese and syrup on top. It’s ridiculous; it’s known worldwide. Please go there to try it. It’s a heart attack waiting to happen, but it’s a good experience."
