"You can go to the top of Batur, and mountain bike down the volcano. It’s a really fun, adventurous thing to do. It takes a whole day, but it's a great thing that not a lot of tourists do. Any time you can get off the beaten track, you get to see glimpses of what Bali used to be and how magical the island really is."

"I have a really good friend who owns a hotel called Bambu Indah, which is just magical. All the buildings are these wonderful bamboo structures. It's just such an incredible place. I would definitely recommend staying there."

"I always like going to Deus Ex Machina. They have wonderful photos — surf, motorcycle, culture, lifestyle photos. It's very touristy, but it's still fun to go to because there's a lot of creativity and visual inspiration there, which is really great."

"I usually go to Canggu because I have some friends who live there. I like the surf scene and there’s a ton of creativity. And you can still get really great places there that are really cheap, and eat great food"

"After I recover from jet lag, I immediately go to a massage place called Jari Menari, which means ‘dancing fingers’. It literally is the best massage place I've ever been to in the world. It's like 90 minutes for $30. It'll change your life. It's so good."
