"Have You Heard is a record store in a really cool neighborhood. What's cool about this is there’s a DJ in store. Right now, it's every Friday, and then you can get a cocktail. So it's a good place to shop, but it's also so much more as well, in terms of events and activities and the conversations."

"Baan Rim Naam is this cool space by the Chao Phraya River. The space is by Florian [Gypser], who renovated the old warehouse. You’re by the river and you can get drinks and order light bites. He has a turntable and his own collection of guitars, so sometimes he just has musicians jam over there."

"Mod Kaew means like ‘empty glass,’ so you [must] bottom up. They serve natural wine by the bottle, or they select a bottle if you want to do by glass, so I always go with their recommendation. And they also have really good food, like snack bites."

"It’s kind of hard to get a spot because Haawm is really hot right now — you have to book in advance. What's so cool about this place is that you share a table. So if you book for yourself, or just two of you, you get to make new friends throughout the dinner."

"Jua is such a comfort place. I always find them very welcoming — it’s always the best food and we always have great conversations. They have amazing choices for yakitori, but if I come with some friends, I would order the uni pasta, which they do in a specific way with a bit of a Japanese touch."
