His story of peace, kindness, and grace is incredible. The tour is amazing, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town. It’s often closed, though, so you kind of have to get lucky. Make sure to check if it’s open before you go."

“I found the hikes challenging, but I’m not a great hiker. My partner wouldn’t find it difficult at all. Still, I think it’s something most people can do – it’s just not easy. It’s a proper hike, and it’s incredible. The view is absolutely amazing. Another hike I loved was Lion's Head — equally beautiful.”

"When I was younger and had more energy, I was DJing a lot. I did a few gigs in Cape Town – one of the spots was called Coco, and it was so much fun. We tore up the dance floor and had such a great night out. It’s got really good vibes, especially for people in their twenties to early thirties."

"Bo-Kaap is where all the colourful houses are – it’s kind of a hidden gem. You’re just driving, and then suddenly it’s like, whoa – all these amazing colours. There’s also great street art, some Banksy, and a beautiful little museum worth checking out."

"The wineries are incredible, and there are so many to choose from you really can’t go wrong. It’s such a beautiful contrast to the city, surrounded by nature and so well kept. One place I loved was called Babylonstoren. I didn’t do the wine tasting, but the food was amazing. It’s definitely worth visiting, even if you're not into wine – it's just a stunning experience."
