"There's a really cool surfing beach called Grandview, and there are lots of others around it. That's where my friend Bryce [fellow skater, Bryce Wettstein] would always take me surfing, and the beach stretches out for miles and miles. It’s perfect for surfing and swimming."

"The South Coast Highway 101 is just a bit back from the beach. It has some really cool thrift shops, cafés and bars. Whenever I'm in Encinitas, I usually go to a different café or restaurant on that street."

"Also on the South Coast Highway 101 is my favorite thrift shop called Flashbacks. I've got so many clothes from there. Thrift shops in Encinitas are not overpriced and you can get amazing things for $5."

"There are lots of cool little cinemas like the La Paloma Theatre, which I always go to with Bryce. That's really cool."

"There's one called Cinépolis, and it's a luxury cinema. You can get gourmet popcorn delivered to you — it's so nice because you can literally lie back in your chair and watch the movie."

"There's one [a skate park] in Encinitas that everyone calls Poods, but I'm sure it's called Encinitas Community Park. It’s really big and there are always lots of skaters there. It's really fun for all different levels of skating."
