"Seventhwave coffee is just a guy in a warehouse. He's roasting coffee beans and is making beautiful, old-school Italian coffee, with the crema. It's really incredible. There's a coffee that I had there once: two shots of espresso with Campari soda. It was amazing."

"Atomic Brewery — the beers are very creative. They recently won a GABS, which is like the beer competition in Australia. They won an award forthebest beer, which was a lemon sour with a meringue on top of it, and it's incredible. It's not something that I would ever really think of."

"The Abbotts Hotel is almost as old as Redfern. Growing up it was like the cheap pub — you'd go there and it was full of eclectic characters and lots of people from different walks of life. Redfern is a huge multicultural hub."
