"Seventhwave coffee is just a guy in a warehouse. He's roasting coffee beans and is making beautiful, old-school Italian coffee, with the crema. It's really incredible. There's a coffee that I had there once: two shots of espresso with Campari soda. It was amazing."

"Atomic Brewery — the beers are very creative. They recently won a GABS, which is like the beer competition in Australia. They won an award forthebest beer, which was a lemon sour with a meringue on top of it, and it's incredible. It's not something that I would ever really think of."

"The Abbotts Hotel is almost as old as Redfern. Growing up it was like the cheap pub — you'd go there and it was full of eclectic characters and lots of people from different walks of life. Redfern is a huge multicultural hub."

"The Lord Gladstone is iconic in terms of pub culture, and also live music. It's kind of where all those Australian bands grew up. And above they've got Goodspace Gallery — art, music, lots of hip-hop happening there now as well."
