"This palace is where Duke Federico of Montefeltro lived his whole life. He finished it in the 15th century. Every time I go there, I admire the majestic palace. The ambition that Federico had to make the city of Urbino one of the most beautiful towns of the Renaissance is a really big inspiration."

"You can have spiedini di pesce, seafood skewers, with calamari e gamberi, everywhere in Italy. But when I had them at Uliassi, it completely blew my mind. It was the same dish, the same food, but with a depth of flavor that I had never experienced before. That's the genius of the chef."

"Wake up early for sunrise and rent a kayak at Portonovo Beach, and then paddle south towards La Spiaggia delle Due Sorelle. Bring a little lunch and have it at the beach, and then kayak back in the afternoon. The trip takes a couple of hours each way — quite challenging but totally doable."

"Monte Catria is the highest peak in the province of Pesaro e Urbino in northern Marche at 1,701 meters. It's a very cool mountain with a wide variety of trees and wildlife. Spot roe deer, wolves, boar and foxes all living in the mountains while hiking some of the incredible trails."
