Nothing fancy, I'm into the ones that serve robusta espresso, where you pay 1 euro, sit on plastic furniture and listen to the locals having a chat. In Cala Gonone, each morning on my morning rock-hopping adventures, I'd stop at Baby Luna along the way. Great name, simple espresso and beach views."

"I'd definitely recommend going to this amazing beach on the island's west side near Cabras called Is Arutas; the sand is actually made of tiny grains of quartz and is absolutely beautiful."

"There's a little beach called Cala Fuili. You can go from the town of Cala Gonone by boat or kayak. I'd recommend rock-hopping along the coast. When you arrive at this tiny, secluded beach with turquoise water, it's just sublime."

"There are so many beautiful spots in Sardinia that you might need to make multiple trips, but I'd recommend going to Cala Gonone. It's a quieter beachside town surrounded by huge mountains. It's quaint, beautiful, and not overly touristy: you can do hike or kayak or simply relax all week in this spot."
